Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Mesa seeks a General Manager of operations to lead the site, drive strategic direction, ensure safety, compliance and financial performance, and act as primary interface for proposals and contracts.

You will champion lean practices, Six Sigma and ISO activities, develop marketing plans, manage budgets, and build strong vendor and client relationships while guiding a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for leadership role.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 5 years’ experience in leadership role in logistics/distribution/supply chain.
• Operations management capacity and ability to manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations, safety, and profitability in accordance with company policy.
• Lead productivity and service goals and comply with client agreements.
• Drive continuous improvement via Lean, Six Sigma and ISO initiatives.
• Develop vendor, supplier, and client relationships; ensure OSHA and compliance.
• Develop and manage annual operating budget and contract pricing.
