Job summary

Danfoss in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Manufacturing Systems Specialist to keep SAP/Siemens MES and connected apps available for production. You will be the site’s MES expert, collaborating with Manufacturing IT, suppliers, and partners to ensure data accuracy, configuration, and ongoing uptime.

The role involves leading MES projects, troubleshooting production-line data, and supporting new lines and factory expansions with governance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, IS, or engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of MES/manufacturing applications experience.
• Experience with MES/SCADA, data collection, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Azure DevOps, BarTender, REST APIs, JSON, and logs.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Protect production uptime by monitoring Siemens MES and related apps, resolving incidents and issues.
• Improve reliability by maintaining MES configurations, master data, workflows, and logs.
• Connect manufacturing tech by supporting ERP, equipment, DB, BarTender, REST, and JSON integrations; use SQL for validation.
• Deliver MES projects from requirements through go-live and handover for new lines and expansions.
• Coordinate solutions across a global network with Manufacturing IT, suppliers, integrators, and sites.
