Job summary

Cook Inc - Bloomington is seeking a Systems Engineer 1 to support enterprise MES software across the life cycle. You will work with process owners, IT, and site teams to implement, validate, and optimize MES functionality.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for coordinating data migration, training, and policy updates. Ideal candidates have a college degree and experience with MES tools, data, and global project execution.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent relevant work experience in Engineering.
• Experience across a broad range of MES tools, data, and processes.
• Experience in a global environment / managing and executing complex projects in an engineering setting.
• Project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to define business needs and user requirements.
• Understand MES design and how MES influences other systems.
• Lead the design of MES system functionality.
• Develop procedures for management and utilization of the MES system.
• Coordinate with IT to validate MES systems and train users.
• Implement MES functionality with site teams including data migration and policy changes.
• Draft and update MES procedures and training materials to reflect changes.
• Monitor MES performance data and drive improvements.
