Job summary

re-zoo-me is actively seeking an experienced MES Engineer to design, implement, and integrate Manufacturing Execution Systems across plant operations. You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, IT, and automation teams to boost traceability, production visibility, and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

  • MES concepts and manufacturing processes are essential.
  • Experience with MES platforms such as Solumina, Rockwell FTPC or Apriso.
  • Strong SQL querying and relational database knowledge.
  • Experience with system integration and APIs (REST/SOAP, OPC UA/DA, MQTT).
  • Understanding of ERP-MES-SCADA-PLC architecture and production tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, develop, implement, and maintain MES applications.
  • Gather manufacturing requirements and translate them into MES specs.
  • Develop production workflows, batch records, work instructions, and shop-floor transactions.
  • Integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, PLC, Historian, LIMS, WMS.
  • Support production tracking, genealogy, traceability, downtime, OEE, quality, and inventory.
  • Develop MES interfaces using APIs, web services, databases, and middleware.
  • Troubleshoot MES applications, databases, integrations, and shop-floor issues.
  • Work with SQL databases for queries, stored procedures, and reports.
  • Participate in MES implementation, testing, deployment, and commissioning.
  • Prepare functional specs, technical docs, test cases, and user docs.
  • Support FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, UAT, and go-live activities.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers for PLC/SCADA connectivity.
  • Provide production support and root-cause analysis for MES incidents.
  • Follow change-control, validation, cybersecurity, and software development standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MES Engineer to design, develop, implement, integrate, and support Manufacturing Execution Systems used to monitor and control production processes. The role involves working closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, IT, and automation teams to improve production visibility, traceability, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, develop, implement, and maintain MES applications.
  • Gather manufacturing requirements and translate them into MES functional and technical specifications.
  • Develop production workflows, electronic batch/production records, work instructions, and shop-floor transactions.
  • Integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, PLC, Historian, LIMS, WMS, and other plant systems.
  • Support production tracking, genealogy, traceability, downtime, OEE, quality, and inventory processes.
  • Develop and maintain MES interfaces using APIs, web services, databases, and middleware.
  • Troubleshoot MES application, database, integration, and shop-floor issues.
  • Work with SQL databases for queries, stored procedures, reports, and data validation.
  • Participate in MES implementation, testing, deployment, and commissioning activities.

Required Skills
