Job summary

Leggett & Platt’s Precision Hydraulic Cylinders (PHC) seeks an Operations Business Systems Analyst (MES) to support and improve digital shop-floor systems. You will link manufacturing processes, engineering changes, and operational systems to ensure accurate production data and reliable system performance.

You will work with Production, Engineering, Quality, and IT to implement data-driven improvements, digitalization, and training for weld techniques and process controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting MES in a production environment.
• Experience maintaining work instructions and manufacturing documentation in digital systems.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and drive solutions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update digital work instructions within the MES system.
• Coordinate work instruction changes through required approval processes.
• Ensure work instructions reflect current production processes and engineering docs.
• Conduct weld design reviews and ensure proper process control.
• Provide coaching and skill development to welders and welding operators.
• Deliver technical training for proper weld techniques, inspection, and safety practices.
