Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a MES Associate Business Systems Analyst to support manufacturing systems, gather requirements, configure, test, certify and maintain MES and related systems. The role collaborates with multiple functional teams to drive efficiency improvements and comply with regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field with up to 1 year of experience, strong teamwork and communication skills, and a customer-focused, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience or knowledge in MES Systems, System validation, Database design and maintenance, programming and project management is desired.
• Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer focus.
• Deliverable focus and detail oriented.
• Availability: 7 days a week/24 hours a day based on rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage application installation, configuration, testing, debugging and qualification to support MES and ancillary systems.
• WriteTechnical memos, procedures, reports, user manuals, training manuals, validation protocols and other required documentation related to MES and other systems.
• Generate Change Management documents, design specifications and any other requirement for Electronic Batch Record qualification.
• Generate Data Change Request or other documentation related to system data modification.
• Provide functional and technical support through phone or via e-mail; coverage 7 days a week/24 hours a day on rotation.
• Evaluate business processes to recommend enhancements to systems or new systems to improve effectiveness or compliance.
• Develop and Maintain Interfaces to ensure proper integration between systems.
• Develop and maintain the corporate knowledgebase for MES and ancillary applications and environments.
• Solve Technical problems on systems under responsibility and propose corrective and preventive actions.
