AbbVie is seeking an MES Associate Business Systems Analyst to support manufacturing MES applications, develop requirements, configure, test, and maintain changes. The role collaborates with multiple teams to drive efficiency and compliance in manufacturing environments.

The candidate will write validation docs and user manuals, develop interfaces, and provide 24/7 support on rotation. Bachelor's in CS/CE with 0–1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field; 0–1 year experience preferred.
• Experience or knowledge in MES, system validation, database design, programming, and PM helpful.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; customer-focused and deliverable-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support MES applications: install, configure, test, qualification.
• Write technical memos, procedures, training manuals, and validation docs.
• Develop interfaces and data-change documentation for MES systems.
• Provide technical support; rotate coverage 7 days per week/24 hours.
• Evaluate processes to improve MES efficiency and compliance.

Job Description

The MES Associate Business Systems Analysts are individual contributors responsible for supporting business applications including manufacturing systems. The BA will be playing a critical role in developing business requirements, configuring, building, testing, certifying, installing, and maintaining all changes and modifications to the MES application. The BA will work with several functional teams to support the applications and drive improvements projects to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and manage application installation, configuration, testing, debugging and qualification to support the organization's MES and its ancillary systems.
• Write Technical memos, Procedures, Reports, User Manuals, Training Manuals, validation protocols and other required documentation related to MES and other systems.
• Generate Change Management documents, design specifications and any other requirement for Electronic Batch Record qualification.
• Generate Data Change Request or other documentation related to system data modification.
• Provide functional and technical support through phone or via e-mail, which includes working hours outside of the assigned schedule to cover operational needs 7 days a week/24 hours a day based on a defined rotation schedule.
• Evaluate business processes to recommend enhancements to systems or new systems to improve effectiveness or compliance.
• Develop and Maintain Interfaces to ensure proper integration between systems.
• Develop and maintain the corporate knowledgebase for MES and ancillary applications and associated environments.
• Solve Technical problems on systems under area of responsibility and propose corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field and from zero (0) to one (1) year of experience are required.
• Experience or knowledge in MES Systems, System validation, Database system design and maintenance, programming and project management are desired.
• Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Costumer focus.
• Deliverable focus and detail oriented.
• Availability: 7 days a week/24 hours a day based on a defined rotation schedule.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Companybelieves ingood faith it will pay for this role at thetimeofthis posting based on the job grade for this position.Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographiclocation,andwemay ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may bemodified in thefuture.
