Job summary

Inpria in Corvallis, OR seeks a Limited Duration MES Project Engineer to lead the design, configuration, and validation of an MES integrating Ignition, Sepasoft, ERP (Business Central) and LIMS (LabWare). On-site for the 30-month term, you will drive from foundation to production rollout with cross-functional teams.

The role demands hands-on shop-floor integration, testing, and training, plus strong PLC, OPC UA, and data governance skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of MES/SCADA experience in batch-manufacturing.
• Hands-on Ignition and Sepasoft configuration for batch projects.
• Experience integrating MES with ERP (Business Central) and LIMS (LabWare).
• Strong PLCs knowledge and industrial protocols (OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, Modbus).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel limited to site/vendor locations.

Responsibilities

• Own the MES implementation plan, schedule, milestones, and status reporting.
• Translate value-stream maps into Ignition/Sepasoft models and screens.
• Design interfaces among Ignition, Business Central, and LabWare.
• Lead shop-floor integration with PLCs and industrial protocols.
• Define CTQs, SPC rules, and validation-driven release logic.
• Coordinate vendors and external partners for timely delivery.
• Develop training materials and handover documentation.
• Perform testing, defect triage, and acceptance criteria.
