Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an engineer to support and optimize manufacturing software systems in a semiconductor environment. You will configure MES, manage production data, and integrate factory systems with equipment and automation platforms.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, automation, and IT teams to improve factory efficiency through software solutions. A Bachelor's in a related field and 3–6 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
3–6 years of experience supporting manufacturing software systems.
Experience with MES, Factory Automation, CIM, Equipment Automation, and Quality Systems (SPC, FDC).
Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and production system issues.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Configure and support MES and automation software.
Maintain production data including process flows, recipes, and materials.
Integrate factory systems with equipment and automation platforms.
Troubleshoot manufacturing software issues affecting production.
Support testing, go-live activities, and system rollouts.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, automation, and IT teams.
Identify opportunities to improve factory efficiency through software solutions.
