Job summary

Convergix Automation Solutions is seeking an MES and Controls Engineer to design, implement, and support control and information systems. The role includes direct customer interaction, tier-1 service, and project management involvement in a remote setup spanning international teams.

You will engage in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA design, and data systems, with exposure to multiple automation platforms and cloud services. Strong communications and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the manufacturing software arena (Information/MES/IIoT).
• Industrial manufacturing environment and with industrial controls.
• Proven expertise in requirements specification, architecting solutions, systems analysis, and design.

Responsibilities

• Work on PLC programming, HMI design, SCADA system design, electrical design and data management systems.
• Testing, troubleshooting, debugging and commissioning complex systems.
• Leverage industry best practices and tools across industries (food, beverage, automotive, pharma).
• Collaborate with a team delivering world-class automation for Fortune 500 customers.
