Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Merlin Propulsion Engineer to own engine hardware and software from build through test, flight, and re-flight. You will drive design changes to improve reliability, producibility, and performance while supporting Falcon production rate growth.

You will lead development campaigns, collaborate across teams, and implement automated analysis tools to accelerate decisions and resolve anomalies efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics is required.
• 1+ years fabrication, assembly, or testing experience.
• 1+ years CAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Responsible Engineer for Merlin engine hardware/components.
• Lead development and tests for hardware improvements and investigations.
• Design, analyze, fabricate, operate Merlin propulsion hardware.
• Collaborate with production, test, launch, avionics, software, and leadership.
• Drive anomaly investigations and rapid resolution.
• Develop and improve maintenance procedures for hardware readiness.
