A leading AmLaw 100 firm is hiring in Washington, DC for a deal associate who wants a true split of core M&A and energy-sector transactions . The group stays busy, and sits in the middle of the firm’s platform.
Buy-side and sell-side M&A, divestitures, and joint ventures
Energy transactional matters, including renewables, oil and gas, project development, and energy-related commercial contracts
Deals staffed with tax, benefits, labor, environmental, real estate, securities, and antitrust as needed, so you learn how the whole machine works, not just one lane
3–4 years of law firm experience in M&A and/or energy transactions (national-platform experience preferred)
Exposure to renewables, oil and gas, project development, or energy commercial contracts is a plus
Strong drafting and issue-spotting, comfortable working directly with deal teams and clients
Active DC Bar required or waive-in.
