Qualifications

  • Pursuing aBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits.
  • Availability to work full‑time (40+ hours) May–August 2027.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalent academic standing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly fixed asset accounting activities including asset additions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
  • Support physical asset verification projects and fixed asset audits.
  • Assist with intercompany accounting processes including recording and reconciling intercompany transactions.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and supporting journal entries.
  • Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Assist with special projects, reporting requests, and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and U.S. GAAP requirements.

Position Overview: As part of the talented Central Accounting team, you will obtain hands‑on experience with month‑end close activities, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives within a fast‑paced accounting environment. You work closely with accounting and finance teams while gaining exposure to corporate accounting processes and internal controls. Required Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits.
  • Availability to work full‑time (40 or more hours per week) during the the months May through August 2027.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Junior or senior standing in an Accounting or Finance program.
  • Prior internship, co‑op, or accounting‑related work experience.
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control concepts.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and interest in process automation.

The pay range for this position is $18.00-27.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will vary depending on multiple factors including year in school/credits earned, degree, job‑related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
