Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to partner with the Store Team Leader in developing and executing the merchandising strategy, training and coaching the team, and ensuring brand visual standards on the floor.

You’ll drive floorset execution, optimize guest experience, lead and develop a team, manage replenishment, and uphold safety and asset protection while living the AEO values.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience and leadership in a store environment.
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Understanding of employment law and people development practices.
• Business acumen and decision-making grounded in KPIs.
• Flexible availability to meet guest shop hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a Leader on Duty (LOD) by maximizing floorspace productivity and guest loyalty.
• Coach team to deliver the brand standards and maintain visual merchandising across the store.
• Motivate and develop the team, conducting coaching, performance reviews and development plans.
• Recruit and hire strong talent to ensure staffing aligns with business needs and training plans.
• Provide ongoing feedback and run team touchpoints to boost associate engagement and performance.
• Execute daily operations to uphold visual standards and ensure guest-ready Fitting Rooms.
• Maintain store safety and Asset Protection standards and adhere to company policies.
