Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to drive merchandising strategy and develop a high-performing team. The role focuses on executing visual standards, floorset integrity, and replenishment to keep the store guest-ready every day.

You will train and motivate your team, manage sales drivers on the floor, and collaborate with leadership to meet KPIs while embodying AE values and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience required.
• Ability to train and develop a team to meet brand standards.
• Strong commitment to guest experience and sales growth.
• Knowledge of visuals, floorsets, and merchandising best practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Store Team Leader's go-to for merchandising strategy and execution.
• Lead and coach associates to deliver AEO visual standards and guest-ready floors.
• Drive sales as a Leader on Duty by maximizing fitting rooms, salesfloor productivity, and guest loyalty.
• Develop short and long-term business plans to hit KPIs and improve performance.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard strong talent to ensure adequate store coverage.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and development plans to the team.
• Maintain store safety, asset protection, and adherence to company policies.
