Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, drive sales growth, and oversee inventory and staffing. The MM reports to the Operations Manager and guides a team of Task Associates.

Responsibilities include managing payroll budgets, scheduling, executing merchandising directives, and ensuring guest engagement standards while maintaining loss-prevention and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of fast-paced, retail management or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: experience with driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Leadership management: experience with attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, adapting to change, and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Schedule optimization using forecast and payroll data to maximize productivity and meet payroll budgets.
• Review and react to financial and operational reporting, audits, and store visits.
