Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Shreveport, LA to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering a positive shopping experience.

You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and maintaining store standards across stockroom and sales floor. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform routine store duties.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Manage freight flow and stock needs with the Store Manager.
