Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and ensuring strong in-store experiences. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight while upholding company standards.

The role requires retail/management experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. You will work to maintain a clean, safe, and customer-focused environment on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable throughout the shift.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
