Job summary

Five Below is seeking a dedicated store leadership team member to manage receiving, merchandising, and daily operations. You will lead associates, ensure accurate promotions, and maintain store standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes opening/closing duties, staff coaching, and driving sales through effective merchandising and operational efficiency. This hourly position offers advancement opportunities and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking to improve store operations.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, ensuring accurate signage and promotions per guidelines.
• Handles opening/closing procedures, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms for daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, overseeing store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Oversees daily activities of associates and provides guidance to ensure performance.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Executes market plans with signage and inventory controls per corporate guidelines.
