Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Longmont, CO to join the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering positive community experiences. You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and daily store operations while upholding safety and company standards.

You’ll assist with store functions, asset protection, and customer interactions in a high-energy retail environment. This is a full-time role supporting monthly planning and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards (stockroom & sales floor).
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with duties such as freight flow and merchandise planning.
