Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Woodsville, NH to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store standards while upholding safety and company policies. This full-time role requires strong communication and teamwork, physical stamina, and a commitment to our communities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, walking and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock as needed.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
