Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Frazer, PA to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and ensuring excellent customer experiences. You’ll focus on merchandising, freight processing, and maintaining store standards across the sales floor and stockroom.

You'll assist with daily store functions, safety policies, and inventory, while helping manage freight flow and merchandising plans.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy and Task Compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash removal.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Assist the Store Manager with receipt/return of merchandise and freight flow.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated items.
