Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Boone, NC is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and delivering positive experiences for the communities we serve.

You will focus on merchandising and processing freight, assist with store functions, open/close procedures, asset protection, stockroom maintenance, and executing directives to keep the store safe and guest-friendly.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Strong communication and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentability.
