Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in West Palm Beach is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and creating positive experiences for the communities we serve. In this role, you'll focus on merchandising and processing freight.

You will assist with opening and closing procedures, protect assets, maintain store areas, and ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and associates. Prior retail/management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process directives and communicate store activities to leadership.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including restrooms.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Assist with freight flow, merchandise orders, and planograms.
