Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to co-lead a dynamic team with the Store Manager, focusing on merchandising and efficient freight processing to create positive shopping experiences. You will assist with daily store functions, support opening/closing, protect assets, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards with a welcoming attitude toward customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Retail/management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and operate restrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
