Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Walla Walla, WA to work with the Store Manager and lead a team in merchandising and freight processing, driving positive customer experiences.

As part of the role, you will help with opening/closing, asset protection, cleanliness, and ensuring the sales floor is stocked and presentable, while interacting with customers and colleagues in a friendly, professional manner. This is a full-time opportunity with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
• Capable of working in a high-energy, team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect assets, including cash, and follow policies.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to standards.
• Process freight and ensure timely merchandise flow.
• Plan, merchandize, and stock needs, including frozen & refrigerated items.
