Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development in Walla Walla, WA. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, ensure store displays, and support the store manager in training staff.

You will lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment, overseeing opening/closing, safety, and loss prevention while maintaining a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere for customers and teammates.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks (walking, standing, kneeling, etc.).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Clean and restock bathrooms and keep store neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
