Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Statesboro, GA. You will help lead a dynamic team alongside the Store Manager, focusing on merchandising, freight processing, and day-to-day store operations.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, asset protection, policy compliance, and maintaining clean, organized areas. You will assist with freight flow, stock needs, and monthly sales planning while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain cleanliness and restock bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and staff
• Support Store Manager with duties including freight flow and merchandise planning
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners
