Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Statesboro, GA. You will work with the Store Manager to lead a team, focus on merchandising and freight processing, and ensure daily store operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, asset protection, policy adherence, and maintaining clean, well-stocked areas. You will assist with freight flow, inventory, and monthly planning while fostering a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical duties (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restocking duties.
• Provide a positive, safe environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
