Dollar Tree Stores in Tifton, GA is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You’ll work with the Store Manager to supervise a dynamic group of associates and focus on merchandising and processing freight.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow and stock merchandise per productivity standards.
• Ensure sales floor is effective and merchandised.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
