Job summary

Dollar Tree is looking for a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store team alongside the Store Manager, driving merchandising and freight processing to create positive experiences for our communities. You will support opening/closing duties, protect assets, keep the store clean, and ensure safety and customer service are prioritized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, includingBathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
