Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Naples, FL seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive customer experiences through merchandising and freight processing.

You will support opening and closing, protect assets, maintain store standards, and execute monthly sales plans while fostering a positive, fast-paced environment for customers and associates alike.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including restrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Assist with receipt/return of merchandise and freight flow.
• Order and stock merchandise to meet productivity standards.
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective and merchandised properly.
• Plan and maintain promotional displays and monthly Sales Planners.
