Dollar Tree Stores, Lehigh Acres, FL, is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and delivering positive shopping experiences. You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and day-to-day store operations to meet company standards.

The role requires retail and management experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment with a high-energy team.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock as needed
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Other duties as assigned
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Manage freight flow in line with productivity standards
• Order and stock merchandise, including frozen & refrigerated items
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective
• Plan and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners
