Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Louisville seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager with merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations. You’ll help lead a team, ensure clean, well-stocked spaces, and deliver friendly, professional service to customers.

This full-time, on-site role covers duties from opening/closing, asset protection, planograms, and executing corporate directives, to planning monthly sales and maintaining stock in the sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly.
• Retail and management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Ensure clean, safe, and presentable store environment
