Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager at our DC-ALEXANDRIA, VA location. You will drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution while maintaining a customer-ready store environment.

You will lead workload planning, manage stock movement, and support asset protection, with opportunities for training and development across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards and accountability for store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee in-store inventory routines, replenishment, and stock movement.
• Execute planogram (POG) and visual merchandising to company expectations.
• Support clean, organized, customer-ready store environment and backroom organization.
