Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team while focusing on merchandising and freight processing. You will assist with daily store operations, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure policies and safety guidelines are followed.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and handle physical tasks as part of a high-energy retail environment. Full-time position in Williamston, SC.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock as needed.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
