Your ImpactAll Lowe's associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Merchandising Service Associate – Plant Service Lead, this means focusing on Live Plants while: (1) being friendly and professional while engaging vendors and associates to meet store needs, (2) ensuring signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate so that merchandise is easy to locate, and (3) creating visually appealing product selections that are safe, clean, and accessible for customers. The Merchandising Service Associate – Plant Service Lead oversees execution of all assigned Live Nursery merchandising resets, service responsibilities, and maintenance activities, working outside in the garden center to ensure merchandise is stocked, fronted, and priced according to planograms and store standards. They collaborate closely with the Merchandising Service Manager, other associates, and store leaders to set priorities, identify nursery service needs, and provide updates and feedback. The role also requires maintaining a safe environment through daily safety reviews, hazard identification, and ensuring cleanliness and security. Travel is occasional, mainly for meetings, training, or support to neighboring stores.
What you will do br/>
- Provide excellent customer service according to Lowe’s policies.
- Build relationships with vendors and ensure merchandise resets meet Lowe’s standards.
- Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the team and manager.
- Engage with customers when opportunities arise, helping locate, demonstrate, and load merchandise, and responding to questions promptly.
- Merchandise plants by planogram, update signage, and ensure displays are safe and appealing.
- Identify and replace damaged signage or displays, and update digital signage as needed.
- Ensure proper placement of cross-merchandise and support materials to increase sales.
- Assist with culling and pricing plants, and communicate issues to supervisors.
- Adjust fixtures, rotate stock, and support maintenance using power equipment.
- Document service and maintenance tasks with details and photos.
- Maintain safe and organized work areas, repair damaged packaging, and remove trash.
- Report security concerns and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Operate store equipment as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:- Less than 1 year 6 months of live nursery or general merchandising experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED, less than 1 year 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience.
- Experience with product merchandising, reading planograms, and setting up displays.
- Less than 1 year 3 months operating power equipment like lifts and order pickers.
