All Lowe's associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Merchandising Service Associate – Plant Service Lead, this role focuses on Live Plants by:

1. Being friendly and professional while engaging vendors and associates to meet store needs,
2. Ensuring signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate for easy merchandise location,
3. Creating visually appealing, safe, clean, and accessible product selections.

The primary responsibility is overseeing all assigned Live Nursery merchandising resets, service responsibilities, and maintenance activities, including working outside in the garden center to ensure merchandise is stocked, fronted, and priced according to planograms and standards. This role involves close collaboration with the Merchandising Service Manager, team members, and store leaders to prioritize tasks and address store nursery service needs, while maintaining a safe work environment through daily safety reviews and organization.

Travel is not regular but may be required occasionally for meetings, training, or support to other stores.

What you will do

• Provide excellent customer service in line with Lowe's policies.
• Build vendor relationships and ensure merchandise resets meet Lowe’s standards.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the team and manager.
• Engage with customers when opportunities arise, assisting with locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
• Listen to and respond promptly to customer questions, demonstrating appreciation and providing product information.
• Manage plant racks, signage, and displays, including updating wayfinding and digital signage.
• Ensure proper placement of cross merchandise and support materials to drive sales.
• Assist with culling and pricing plants, maintaining communication with team members.
• Adjust fixtures, rotate stock, and support display maintenance using power equipment.
• Complete and document service and maintenance tasks, including photographic confirmation.
• Maintain safety and security standards, including hazard identification and theft prevention.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas, adhering to safety procedures.
• Operate store equipment as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 1 year 6 months of live nursery or general merchandising experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, with less than 1 year 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience.
• 6 months experience with product merchandising, including reading planograms and setting up displays.
• Less than 1 year 3 months experience operating power equipment like lifts and order pickers.
