Job summary

Atrium is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Assistant to support its Merchandising and Product teams in a fast-paced retail environment in New York. You will receive, track, organize, photograph, and manage physical product samples, ensuring accurate records and smooth sample flow.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. This on-site position offers an $18/hour rate and comprehensive benefits through Atrium Care

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience and/or retail experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track incoming samples and communicate sample needs and deadlines to vendors.
• Receive, unpack, organize, and label physical product samples.
• Maintain accurate sample records and update sample locations.
• Photograph samples and upload images to digital records.
• Coordinate sample reviews with Merchandising and Product teams.
• Record sample feedback and approval decisions.
• Communicate sample feedback to vendors.
• Manage sample storage and respond to requests for samples.
• Assist with the organization and disposal/donation of approved samples.
