Ben E. Keith Company in Texas is seeking a Merchandiser / Sales Coordinator to handle permanent and promotional POS items, install displays, and design attractive brand placements.

The role includes pulling vacation and relief routes for Sales Representatives as needed, and building relationships with retail customers. You will collaborate with accounts to meet their needs, promote BEK brands at retail, and maintain shelves, displays, and stock levels while ensuring accuracy and safe operation

Qualifications

• Draught experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and effectively use the handheld sales unit.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
• Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment.
• Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
• Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must have a read and write English.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be 18 yrs. or older to apply.
• High school graduate or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for sales representatives (vacation, open position, etc.) as needed.
• Build healthy business relationships and establish good communication with our retail customers.
• Work collaboratively with customer to establish their needs and design solutions that fulfill them.
• Leverage relationships with accounts to sell in new brands.
• Engage in regular call frequency on assigned retail accounts to sell product, gain distribution, merchandise, and stock product.
• Promote Ben E. Keith brands at retail through promotions, consumer education and merchandising.
• Execute all company goals to enhance the sales, distribution, shelf space, display coverage, tap share and merchandising of all brands.
• Build product displays; place signage and merchandising material for maximum visibility.
• Maintain designated back stock area and ensure organized, clean area.
