Job summary

Ben E. Keith Co. seeks a Merchandiser-Sales Coordinator for San Angelo and surrounding areas. The role handles permanent and promotional POS items, designs promotional displays, and supports Sales Representatives as needed.

You will build relationships with retailers, maximize brand visibility, and rotate stock to ensure freshness. A valid Texas driver’s license and HS diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• Draught experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and use handheld sales unit.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
• Good oral and written communication skills and team orientation.
• Must be highly motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Must be organized with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Must read/write English.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be 18+ years old; HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for sales representatives as needed.
• Build relationships with retail customers and communicate effectively.
• Design solutions to meet customer needs.
• Promote Ben E. Keith brands at retail through promotions and merchandising.
• Maintain displays and ensure maximum brand visibility in assigned accounts.
• Organize back stock, coolers, shelves and displays.
• Ensure product freshness by rotating stock.
• Attend daily meetings with Area Sales Manager to discuss opportunities.
• Report merchandising opportunities and competitive activity to management.
• Operate company equipment safely and maintain company vehicle.
