Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company in Waco, Texas is seeking a Merchandiser to ensure proper representation of products at retail locations. You will build displays, rotate stock, and engage with store personnel and customers to communicate brand value.

You will fill in for sales reps as needed and collaborate with Account Managers to meet market opportunities, promotions, and merchandising goals in assigned accounts across Texas.

Qualifications

• Draught experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and effectively use the handheld sales unit.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
• Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment.
• Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
• Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be 18 yrs. or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for sales representatives as needed.
• Build healthy business relationships with retail customers.
• Work with customers to design solutions that fulfill needs.
• Sell in new brands and leverage account relationships.
• Engage in regular calls to sell products and merchandise.
• Promote Ben E. Keith brands through promotions and merchandising.
• Maintain and rotate stock, displays, and shelf space.
• Ensure maximum visibility and correct pricing across accounts.
• Organize back stock and maintain a clean vehicle and area.
