Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Merchandiser / Sales Coordinator in Texas to install and replace all POS items, design displays, and support Sales Representatives. You will build displays, manage stock, and promote BEK brands across multiple retail accounts.

The role supports field sales by pulling routes, coordinating promotions, and maintaining high standards of product visibility and compliance with company policies. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Draft experience preferred.
• Learn to use handheld sales unit.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Motivated, results oriented, with attention to detail.
• Organized with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to read and write English.
• Must be able to move products up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch.
• Texas driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for sales representatives (vacation, open position, etc.) as needed
• Build healthy business relationships and establish good communication with our retail customers
• Work collaboratively with customer to establish their needs and design solutions
• Leverage relationships with accounts to sell in new brands
• Engage in regular call frequency on assigned retail accounts to sell product and stock
• Promote Ben E. Keith brands at retail through promotions and merchandising
• Execute goals to enhance sales, distribution, shelf space and merchandising
• Build product displays and signage for maximum visibility
• Regularly replace merchandising material to align with marketing programs
• Ensure visibility and pricing of BEK products at accounts
• Organize and refill back stock, coolers, beer shelves and displays
• Maintain back stock area and organize to avoid trash
• Monitor stock aging and rotate stock as needed
• Attend daily meetings with Area Sales Manager to discuss opportunities
• Communicate opportunities or challenges to Area Sales Manager
• Project a friendly, professional image at all times
• Prioritize multiple, competing priorities
• Attend meetings as required
• Operate company equipment safely; report incidents promptly
• Maintain company vehicle; keep clean
• Complete assigned surveys comparing BEK displays to competition
• Perform other duties as assigned
