The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a FAST Team Member, you must be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented. You should be able to fulfill the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with your District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress and issues, offering solutions.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and promptly.
• Perform store-specific measurements and accurate cycle counts.
• Complete the Tractor Way top cap process and hang store signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Ask to add value and appreciate.

Ensure customers have a shopping experience that differentiates from competitors. Provide peak coverage during high-demand times (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving). Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential regardless of education level.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution with minimal conflict.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks independently.

Working Conditions

• Generally indoor work with moderate noise; outdoor lots and store floors are hard surfaces.
• Shifts vary, generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations in personal vehicle required, often long periods.
• Maintain a safe, productive environment following safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Travel as needed.
• Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
• Access all store areas safely.
• Operate store equipment and complete documentation accurately.
• Handle contact with birds/poultry.
• Complete training successfully.
• Operate necessary equipment (excluding forklift and baler if under 18).
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, driving, standing, walking, reaching overhead, and moving merchandise throughout the store.
