The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, as well as providing support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a FAST Team Member, you must be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime based on business needs.
• Communicate proactively with your District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress, issues, and solutions.
• Accurately and timely complete planograms and resets.
• Perform store-specific measurements and accurate cycle counts.
• Complete the Tractor Way top cap process and hang store signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Ask for added value.
• Ensure customers have a shopping experience that stands out from competitors.
• Provide peak coverage during special times (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; however, reading, writing, and counting skills are essential regardless of education level.

Preferred knowledge, skills, or abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution with minimal conflict.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks independently.

Working Conditions

• Generally indoor environment with moderate noise.
• Work shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
• Travel between stores using personal vehicle, often over long periods.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to promote a safe work environment.
• Work on hard surfaces in both indoor and outdoor areas with adequate lighting and temperature.

Physical Requirements

• Travel as needed within district.
• Push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
• Occasionally lift or reach overhead.
• Frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders.
• Access all store areas safely.
• Operate store equipment and complete documentation accurately.
• Handle and contact birds/poultry.
• Complete required training successfully.
• Operate equipment such as dollies, handtrucks, forklifts, balers, computers, and registers (forklift/baler if 18+).
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Driving a vehicle.
• Standing and walking for entire shifts.
• Reaching overhead and moving merchandise throughout the store.
• Maintain physical and mental stamina for quick, safe movement within store and outdoor areas.
