Job summary

HomeGoods at TJX Companies is hiring to support daily store operations in Springfield. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, drive an excellent customer experience, and mentor Associates in processing and backroom tasks.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility to work nights and weekends, and adherence to safety and policies while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Team player, able to train others.
• Able to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure Associates are processing efficiently and effectively.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintain backroom organization and replenishment processes.
• Promote safety and comply with labor laws, policies, and procedures.
