Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Broomall, PA is seeking a Merchandising/Receiving Associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards and deliver an excellent customer experience.

You will be part of a team that emphasizes diversity, collaboration, and growth while ensuring an orderly and inviting store environment. You will train Associates, manage backroom organization, and support store operations, while following safety, loss prevention, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing
• Team player with ability to work with peers and supervisors
• Able to work nights and weekends and adapt to schedule changes
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with management to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Monitors productivity and coaches as necessary
• Maintains back stock organization for replenishment
• Upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, and recovery standards in backroom area
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and credit/loyalty programs
