Job summary

CB2 is seeking a Merchandising Operations Assistant in Chicago to support product setup, data integrity, and weekly sales reporting. You will collaborate with the merchandising team to execute assortment setup, update POs, and monitor ecommerce content to ensure accuracy.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 1 year retail experience and strong Excel/Google skills. This on-site position is Monday-Thursday in the office with remote Fridays, offering growth within the merchandising team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; retail or related study preferred.
• 1 year post-graduation retail store or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excel and Google experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• SKU setup and maintenance support for a category of products.
• Work with the merchandising team, vendors, and distribution centers to resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies.
• Update Purchase Orders in season and manage related vendor communication per direction from the Product Team.
• Manage invoice discrepancies and chargebacks.
• Support Seasonal assortment preparation and sample reviews.
• Timely management of data integrity to support assortment set up, sales tracking and reporting.
• Assist the Associate Merchant with maintaining Item Data.
• Assist with photographing product samples for the product database.
• Work with the merchandising team to generate weekly and monthly sales and inventory reports.
• Monitor the e-commerce site for assortment flow, product images and selling information.
• Drive a positive customer experience by regularly monitoring and responding to customer reviews and requests from the field.
• Manage special projects as needed.

Job description

Maximize company growth and sales by providing product set up and operational support to the merchandising team. Collaborate with the team on assortment set up execution to drive financial growth and align on company strategies.

This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Chicago, IL offices with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
