Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking a Merchandise Operations Coordinator to drive sales growth by ensuring accurate and timely item and PO data. This on-site role at our Northbrook, IL offices offers Friday remote flexibility and cross-functional collaboration with Planning, IT, and vendor teams.

You will manage SKU setup, PO creation, and data integrity to support inventory and sales reporting, while standardizing processes and collaborating with stakeholders across departments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of merchandising experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Business Objects, Excel, Access, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Execute SKU setup and maintenance for a category of products, including production SKUs.
• Create vendor purchase orders and manage all order-related vendor communication.
• Own vendor collaboration for purchase order changes and coordinate with Planning to meet dates.
• Prioritize, analyze, and execute SKU and PO creation with cross-functional teams.
• Timely management of data integrity to support accurate sales tracking and reporting.
• Standardize processes and data elements.
• Facilitate and troubleshoot data integrity issues and escalate to stakeholders.

The Merchandise Operations Coordinator maximizes company sales growth and profitability by creating efficiencies in the organization through accurate and timely management of item and purchase order data.

This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL offices with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

A day in the life as a Merchandise Operations Coordinator...

• Execute SKU setup and maintenance for a category of products, including product development samples, photo samples, and production SKUs


• Create vendor purchase orders and manage all order-related vendor communication


• Own vendor collaboration for purchase order changes, including timely communication with Planning teams to meet ship dates and inventory needs


• Prioritize, analyze, and execute SKU and PO creation as assigned and communicated by cross-functional teams


• Timely management of data integrity to support and enable accurate sales tracking and reporting


• Standardize processes and data elements


• Facilitate and troubleshoot data integrity issues and manage escalation to business and IT stakeholders
