Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Mercedes, Texas seeks a Merchandising Manager to lead daily store operations, organize selling floor areas, manage recovery and fitting rooms, and drive a WOW shopping experience for customers.

You will model Burlington’s core values, build strong teams, and partner with leadership to deliver results while supporting promotions, pricing, and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management experience in an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty or multi-unit retail organization with experience in fashion apparel merchandising.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the store’s sales performance daily using reports.
• Provide guidance to floor staff to expedite merchandise flow from receiving to sales floor.
• Coordinate promotions, floor sets, and ensure accurate pricing.
• Oversee floor moves and merchandising presentations in line with concepts.
• Assist Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams.
